Welcome, I’m Chelsea! Food and wellness are my entire life. Whenever I travel anywhere, I first look up the best places to eat, and then I find hot springs, spas, and forests nearby!
I am a San Diego-based certified holistic health practitioner with a
focus in holistic nutrition and herbalism. I also have over ten years of
professional experience as a pastry chef in luxury hotels (five star
and five diamond) and a degree in Culinary Arts, with a love for recipe
development.
I grew up on the Peninsula in the Bay Area, which has a phenomenal food system. I have fond memories of going to the farmer’s market and local produce stands along the coast, which has since evolved into a love for San Diego local produce, something we’re very lucky to have an abundance of.
My passion for a holistic wellness lifestyle came later due to a personal years-long struggle with hormonal acne, which led me down a rabbit hole of research and switching my entire lifestyle and nutrition after being told by a dermatologist that accutane was my best option, after I already expressed that I did NOT want to go on it, and they had not asked me anything about my diet or lifestyle.

I actually first had an interest in nutrition and wellness my first year of college after being diagnosed with such a bad case of mono that I had to drop out and move home for 7 months. My spleen was so enlarged that my doctors ordered me on bed rest and told my parents there was nothing they could do. My Mom refused to believe that and. was actually the one to research foods and herbs to help me heal. That is when my health turned the corner for the better.
That event is what actually inspired me to move to San Diego and pursue pastry school after baking and watching cooking shows for seven months straight. It is an experience that I am forever grateful for, as I learned that even through hardships, new and greater opportunities can present themselves.
I took my first two health and nutrition classes in Culinary School and wanted to continue my education in nutrition then, but was eager to get to work in a kitchen. So, it went on the back burner.
Fast forward to 2015, my Dad was diagnosed with stage IV cancer and my world turned upside down. At the most inconvenient of times, I decided to go back to school to obtain my Diploma in Holistic Health Practice, which allowed me to assist with my Dad’s healing and nutrition protocol and advocate for his well-being. I’m proud to say that he’s still around, and I’m STILL helping him heal.
I have dedicated the past nine years of my life to learning about, living, and testing holistic nutrition, herbalism, wellness, natural products, and supplements in order to help people like YOU make the shift to creating healthier habits.
My husband and I live in San Diego with our border collie pup named Flip Flop, who is just the sweetest princess. I have lived in San Diego for almost 13 years and have been lucky to have access to some of the best, local and organic farms in the country. Even in the middle of a pandemic, we were still able to get married in our favorite place (Yosemite), with just a handful of our family and closest friends.
Thank you so much for stopping by and taking the time to read that novel! If you’ve made it this far, please check out my coaching programs here so that we can get started on creating your wellness plan!
